A few months ago, Tourism Queensland held a travel industry contest for travel agents and agency owners who wanted to visit Australia. I was thrilled at the chance to go to a place that has been on my list of MUST SEE for ages! So I followed all of the instructions, entered the contest by complying with all of the expectations and guess what? I WON A SPOT!

In October, we ran a competition where Aussie Specialists had the chance to win a spot on a 2023 spring fam trip to Australia. Congratulations to these Canadian advisors who are heading Down Under in May: Caroline Regimbald, Sarah Reed, Pamela Sceviour, Niki Shakyaver, Jason McGregor, Claire Godin, Ariane Henry, Robert Marcoux, Breanne Davis, and Michelle Campbell.
I'm very excited to be joining 9 other Canadian agents on this wonderful opportunity to visit Queensland Australia this coming May. Australia has been a destination that has always been on my bucket list so being able to experience it in person and gather valuable information for vegan & veggie travellers about what they can expect is going to be amazing!
Part of the application essay I submitted spoke directly to wanting to experience first-hand vegan Australia. Although our agency supports all travellers, we specialize in supporting vegan travellers, so it was important to me that I am able to visit this remarkable part of the world myself, nothing beats first-hand knowledge.

I am still awaiting the official itinerary of where in Queensland we will be visiting, but I have a sneaky suspicion that the Whitsundays is definitely on the list.
