As a Canadian Travel Agent specializing in vegan and vegetarian-friendly vacations, I understand the importance of finding cruise lines that cater to these dietary and lifestyle preferences. Not all cruise lines are created equal when it comes to offering plant-based meal options. To make your cruise experience as enjoyable as possible, I've gathered information on how each cruise line accommodates vegan and vegetarian travelers.

This is only one facet of concern for vegan-travellers, but is usually the first concern for us...where are we going to eat and more importantly what are we going to eat? It's our most asked question about cruise lines, so we wanted to share some basic information to help you narrow down your preferred cruise lines before we find you the perfect itinerary and the absolute best pricing.

Let's dive in!

AmaWaterways:

AmaWaterways provides a range of vegetarian options that can be easily adapted to vegan upon request. While there are no standard vegan menu items, the chef is more than happy to whip up delicious vegan dishes with advance notice.

American Cruise Lines:

With a vegetarian and vegan option available at every lunch and dinner, American Cruise Lines ensures that plant-based travelers have plenty of choices. Additionally, if given advance notice, the cruise line can provide even more delectable options to suit your preferences.
